Going through my recipe box—a couple of things are really apparent…
1) Never met a ginger-molasses cookie recipe i didn't like, it seems
2) The ratio of dessert recipes to entrees is kind of embarrassing.
It also left me wondering about use of the word 'scant'. It now sounds so-o
archaic, but used to be common in hand-written recipes or cookbooks
published by ladies' auxiliary groups. Love reading those books.
And speaking of archaic.
