Quince | green and yellow

Quince plucked from a tree while on a dog ramble on the Danton Trail this morning.
The Deep Cove neighbourhood is a favorite of mine, forests filled with salal, fir, big leaf maple, arbutus and of course ferns, moss and lichens. Upper left is a little hawthorne berry cluster…
lovely little deep-lobed leaves and ox blood red berries.

Bored by my attempt to get a better pic of the quince harvest, small dog decides to move on.
